No matter what product, there are many kinds, and the same is true for servo injection molding machines. The functional characteristics and materials of servo injection molding machines are also different. If you want to buy a servo injection molding machine with complete functions and high configuration, you first need to understand its features and functions. The details are described below.

Foreword: There are various forms of servo drives in the industry, and the technical configuration is quite different. We researched market information and found that some injection molding machine users reported that some brands of servo injection molding machines felt that the power was insufficient and could not be compared with the variable pump model. Insufficient power configuration, some industry phenomena and user problems, we discuss some features and technical points of servo drive:

What is a "servo"?

Servo English is Servo, derived from the Greek word for slave; in modern industry it is interpreted as a follower system. A system that implements the requirements of the directive. In the application of injection molding machinery, the servo system achieves accurate speed by changing the number of the servo motor and changing the speed and torque of the servo motor. Pressure control, through the detection and feedback of the rotary transformer encoder and pressure sensor, the servo system corrects and compensates, that is, the speed and pressure closed-loop control, so that the injection molding machine runs stably and the product qualification rate is high;

2. Why do some models on the market feel not strong enough?

The current mainstream form of the servo injection molding machine is to use the servo motor to drive the oil pump to realize the corresponding mechanical action. When the injection molding machine is matched with the main power units such as drive, motor, oil pump, etc., the pressure will not rise, and the speed will fall. When the situation is serious, the temperature of the motor rises sharply, and the motor overload protection shuts down, which seriously affects the production plan. This is mainly due to the bad phenomenon caused by mechanical design, product positioning, cost positioning and other reasons.

3. How to choose a servo injection molding machine to give full play to the advantages of energy saving, stability and reliability?

1. A servo system with higher power and torque should be selected, which will directly affect the overload capacity during high-voltage action. The ultimate performance of the machine can be tested by physical tests, such as high-voltage long-time load (recommended not less than 40 seconds), and the state of the machine can be detected after many cycles; currently, the magnetic steel of the servo motor has differences in M.S.H.SH grades. SH is the higher level, and the magnetic flux is larger (i.e. the number of magnetic wires per unit area). High torque output has more advantages and good overload capacity; avoid using low-cost servo systems, because the servo system is overloaded for a long time, the servo motor is easy to demagnetize, resulting in a decrease in machine power;

2. Pay attention to the connection method between the motor and the oil pump, whether to use a reliable coupling and bracket structure, because the servo motor will frequently accelerate, decelerate, brake and reverse during operation, and it will be completed within tens of milliseconds, which will Affect the axial concentricity and buffering in the driving process, thus affecting the service life of motor bearings and oil pumps.

3. Pay attention to the data that affects the operating efficiency of the machine, such as oil pump displacement and speed. At the same speed, the larger the displacement of the oil pump, the higher the operating efficiency of the machine. When selecting the displacement of the oil pump, the relationship between the higher flow output requirements and the speed should be considered. On the premise of ensuring high flow output requirements, it is recommended to design the speed within a reasonable safety range to ensure the reliability and service life of the servo drive system. The low-speed design also brings faster response, but this will increase the cost of the machine.

Only by deeply understanding the above problems can you buy a reliable servo injection molding machine. When purchasing, you must shop around and choose a suitable servo injection molding machine.
